Inside the Hospital

Critical Care Unit (CCU)
The Critical Care Unit (CCU) is located on the second floor of the recently constructed tower. The unit’s 12 inpatient rooms are larger and include updated technology and ceiling mounted booms for medical supplies. The unit has an expanded nurses’ station and the capacity for additional isolation rooms, when necessary.

Clinical Decision Unit
The Clinical Decision Unit is now adjacent to the Emergency Department on the ground floor. The 22-bed unit consists of all private patient rooms and increased visibility, making the monitoring of patients more efficient.

Diagnostic Imaging Department
Diagnostic imaging services are now provided on the first floor of the new tower. This new location allows for more streamlined care.

Perioperative and Surgical Recovery Area
Construction has begun on a new Perioperative and Surgical Recovery Area which will consolidate the hospital’s pre- and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) into one larger modern, cohesive unit. Once completed, the combined unit will have 35 bed bays for patient care before and after surgery. The entire unit is expected to be completed by April 2022.

Pediatric Care Center
A new Pediatric Care Center will be constructed on the ground floor of the hospital next to the Emergency Department. The center will consist of four inpatient beds, four Emergency Department treatment rooms, a spacious playroom and waiting room. The center is scheduled for completion by the end of August.
