Adam Rosenberg brings his passion for protecting vulnerable children and preventing community violence to his role as Executive Director for Center for Hope. Formerly the Executive Director of Baltimore Child Abuse Center before it joined LifeBridge Health, Adam built the organization into a national leader in violence prevention. Along with his stellar team, Adam created a model of excellence, reshaping how to train and educate social service providers and youth serving organizations nationwide. In this new role as Executive Director of Center for Hope and as Vice President for Violence Intervention & Prevention at LifeBridge Health, Adam plans to replicate that same vision and success to protect victims across the lifespan throughout the Baltimore region.

During his career, he has testified on federal, state, and local levels, and has enjoyed appointments on numerous task forces including the Maryland State Council on Child Abuse and Neglect, Governor’s Family Violence Council, and mayoral transition teams. He was a member of the board of the National Children’s Alliance, and President of the Maryland Children’s Alliance. Adam is also a frequent lecturer at national conferences and media resource on current events impacting child protection and trauma.

A graduate of Cornell University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Adam then began his journey as a fierce advocate prosecuting hundreds of domestic abusers, sex offenders, and child predators for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. Before joining BCAC in 2008, he gained critical management, community relations and leadership development skills while serving as a Vice President and Chief of Staff at The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore. His favorite job of all time remains the eight summers he spent in the Poconos as a summer camp counselor and supervisor; he relies upon many of the lessons learned during those summers today. He and his wife are proudest to be raising twin daughters and a pair of dogs.

With over 15 years of corporate and nonprofit finance experience, LaDonna is responsible for the development of Center for Hope’s strategic plan as well as all new strategic initiatives. She also oversees operational management, communications and the organization’s Community Outreach and Education program.

During her 10 years at Baltimore Child Abuse Center, LaDonna has helped the agency grow and earn a reputation as a leader in in the field. One of her key contributions was the establishment of BCAC’s Community Outreach and Education program, which was responsible for launching an online learning institute as well as a mandatory abuse reporting website, reportabusemd.com. In addition, she spearheaded the acquisition of BCAC by LifeBridge Health, a major factor in helping BCAC remain a vibrant agency in the midst of a changing financial landscape for nonprofit organizations.

Earlier in her career, LaDonna worked for GE Consumer Finance. Completing their Financial Management Program then going on to manage one of their private label credit card portfolios for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Kerry, a licensed psychologist with expertise in the area of child maltreatment, trauma and forensic interviewing for over 25 years, is Center for Hope’s Director of Forensic Services. In this role, she oversees Baltimore Child Abuse Center’s programming for Forensic Interviewing, Family Advocacy, Child Development, Elder Justice and Anti-Human Trafficking and Exploitation. Kerry also works closely with Multidisciplinary Team partner agencies that collaborate to help ensure children and families are being well-served within a coordinated, trauma-informed system and following best practices. Since she joined BCAC in 1994, she shaped the forensic interview program into a 24/7 response team that supports children 365 days a year. She also works tirelessly to provide BCAC’s staff with resiliency training to help them handle compassion fatigue and secondary stress from trauma.

Kerry is the proud handler of Manny, BCAC’s Facility Dog, whose calm and sweet temperament provides comfort and support for children and families.

For the past decade she’s served on the Children’s Justice Act Committee, a State Task Force under the federal Child Abuse and Prevention Treatment Act and is currently Vice-Chair.

Prior to joining BCAC, Kerry earned her Doctorate degree in clinical psychology at Auburn University. In her early career she provided psychological services for youth and adults in a variety of settings, including school-based mental health clinics in Baltimore City.

Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and among their favorite places is the beach or a water destination of any kind. A longtime passion for her has been working with animal rescue agencies; she has a long list of foster animals that were successfully adopted, including some by fellow staff members at BCAC. Other hobbies include practicing yoga and meditation, joining in book and dinner clubs with friends, and hanging out with Manny.

LeeAnne manages the pre- and post- award process for a multimillion-dollar portfolio of grants. She leads the team responsible for administration of multiple federal grant awards, management of special project grants and development and implementation of a comprehensive program evaluation framework. LeeAnne’s team administers multiple databases and leads all data collection and program measurement efforts.

LeeAnne joined Baltimore Child Abuse Center in 2012. During the past eight years she was promoted from the sole staff member dedicated to grant activities to lead a new department with four additional team members. She has successfully written several multi-million-dollar proposals and has more than doubled the agency’s total annual grant awards. LeeAnne and her team successfully managed the creation of a $100,000 customized case management software system in 2019.

Prior to joining Baltimore Child Abuse Center, LeeAnne served as a Project Manager and Staff Attorney for a state grant funding agency that administered capital improvement funds for cultural facilities, historical sites and publicly owned professional sports venues in Ohio and worked for a marketing firm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. LeeAnne earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Florida International University and her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Wendy is a practicing physician with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She is Board certified in General Pediatrics, with a sub-specialty certification in Child Abuse Pediatrics. As Baltimore Child Abuse Center’s Medical Director, Wendy oversees our medical program, including our onsite medical clinic. She conducts forensic medical exams for suspected maltreatment as well as medical evaluations for children entering foster care. Since joining the Leadership team in 2015, she has expanded the foster care medical evaluation program to include Baltimore County children, initiated ACE screening for children receiving forensic medical exams, and enhanced collaboration and information sharing with the University of Maryland Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department, where children 12 and under are referred for acute sexual abuse medical exams.

Wendy has provided clinical consultation to multiple Child Advocacy Centers in Maryland for over 16 years and is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Epidemiology and Public Health and Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. A dedicated and compassionate child advocate, Wendy holds numerous positions to bring about positive outcomes to as many children as possible. She serves as Chair of the State Council on Child Abuse and Neglect for which she has helped pass Maryland legislation to create a Medical Director for Child Welfare and to reduce sexual abuse and misconduct in schools. She was recently named as Director of the Maryland Child Abuse Medical Professionals (CHAMP) program, which provides training and peer review to Maryland health care professionals who care for children with suspected abuse and neglect. She is a member of the University of Maryland Medical Center Child Protection Team.

At the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Lane serves as Director of the Preventive Medicine Residency Program, and Director of Community Outreach for the Master in Public Health Program. Her research focuses on child maltreatment and maternal and child health. She serves as the Principal Investigator for B’more for Healthy Babies Upton/Druid Heights, a community-based and community-engaged intervention to improve birth outcomes.

In her role as Director of Violence Intervention, Lisa will supervise all of Center for Hope’s violence intervention programming which includes our Safe Streets – Belvedere site, Sinai Hospita’sl Violence Response Team, Grace Medical Center's new Hospital Violence Response Team, Baltimore Links, and our Kuji workforce program.

She is a seasoned community advocate, who has more than 20 years of experience as a professional trainer, program developer, and strategist. Lisa is a visionary who has extensive non-profit management experience with a focus on addressing social, economic, and health issues in urban communities to mobilize around ending homelessness, poverty, gun violence, and lead the development of youth development core principles. She is a veteran in building relationships and partnerships for thousands of community members, resulting in meaningful and impactful change.

Her past experience includes managing the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief and Recovery efforts for Brooklyn Community Services. She was also the Save Our Streets Director for the Crown Heights Mediation Center in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, Lisa led one of Baltimore's Safe Streets sites at the Woodbourne-McCabe neighborhood.

Lisa has received numerous honors and awards, including the Winner of the 2011 Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Award and Brooklyn’s Women of Distinction Award for her tireless work as a leader who effectively engages her staff, community residents, faith-based leaders, community activists, and state and federal leaders in providing a comprehensive approach to Violence Prevention and case management. Through her efforts in working in marginalized communities, she has a proven track record with work in trauma healing and fostering resilience.

In addition to an advocate, she is also a highly respected Metal Sculptor who has been featured in many one-woman and group art shows in the Mid-Atlantic region.
