Supporting your kids while social distancing:

• Since the kids are out of school this is a good time to quiz them on what they’ve learned

• Meditate: There are apps for kids and families that can help you visualize a more peaceful setting, align your breath with your yoga poses, or focus on what you’re grateful for

• Baltimore City Recreation & Parks – will be providing food for anyone from 2-7 pm in over 30 locations. Click here for list of locations
• Franciscan Center - 101 W 23rd St, Baltimore, MD 21218- 410-467-5340 : Community Dinner on Tuesday-Wednesday – Free dinner for the whole family; Lunch on Monday-Friday – Free lunch for all; Pantry Bags on Monday-Thursday- Department of Social Service vouchers accepted twice per month. Limited bags available for those without a voucher (first come, first served).
• Current Eating Together in Baltimore participants should reserve a meal through their Eating Together Site. Participants should call Maryland Access Point for their pickup time. Older adults who are not Eating Together participants but who have food needs should call Maryland Access Point 410-396-2273.

Toiletries:

• Franciscan Center – 101 W 23rd St, Baltimore, MD 21218 - 410-467-5340 : Monday-Thursday - Accepting donations of new and gently used clothing, which is free for guests. Provides essential personal care items such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo, as available.

Neighborhood Associations:

• Greater Remington Improvement Association (GRIA) –  Volunteers willing to assist elderly residents and vulnerable adults with groceries, walking their pets, or to just talk to someone. Interested individuals can text ”Remcovid” to 888-448-0758 or can fill out an online form (click here)
