Coronavirus Preparedness & Response

General Information

The State Health Department has a number where the general public can call with questions: 211 (Press #2 for Coronavirus inquiries) https://211md.org

Our medical staff is receiving regular information and training on protocols to recognize, isolate and evaluate any patients who may have signs of COVID-19.

As we continue to monitor and plan for COVID-19, we are sharing regular communications for our staff, patients and visitors.

We know that many people have concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

Our top focus at LifeBridge Health is keeping our patients and team members safe, and we want to assure you that our teams are actively preparing for the potential spread of COVID-19.

Our COVID-19 Command Center team is working with our caregivers and facilities all across the LifeBridge Health system, taking all necessary precautions in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Maryland State Department of Health recommendations. We are also coordinating with all other appropriate federal, state and local agencies.

What You Can Do

While we are being proactive to protect your health and safety, we also encourage you to do the same. We all play a role in reducing the potential of the spread coronavirus in our community.

The following are recommendations issued by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control):

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

If You Are Ill

If you are ill and wish to see your provider, please contact your health care provider’s office first. A staff member will help you determine the appropriate course to treat you and keep your loved ones and others around you safe.

Patient Portal

We have made it easy for patients to review their test results through our online LifeBridge Patient Portal delivering results of these tests as quickly as possible (six days after the test was completed). If you are already enrolled in Patient Portal, you will receive an email alert that new lab test results are available. Log into the Portal to receive your results.

If you are a LifeBridge Health patient and not already enrolled, instructions to sign up can be found here.
