Volunteer With LifeBridge Health

LifeBridge Health’s mission of providing high quality, compassionate health care to the people of Central Maryland every day of the year. But we can’t do it alone.

At Sinai, Northwest and Carroll hospitals, along with Levindale, we depend on our dedicated volunteers to change a patient’s day with a smile or a visit; help visitors find their way through a confusing hospital; and aid our staff with administrative tasks that keep the hospital running.

Why volunteer?

Your work has a direct impact on those you serve. You will not earn money, but you will gain the satisfaction of giving your time and talent to help patients and staff at a busy hospital.

The benefits of volunteering include:

  • Sharing your skills, or learning new ones
  • Connecting with people
  • Learning about health care careers
  • Finding a sense of purpose
  • Improving your health from staying active
  • Increasing your happiness

What can volunteers do?

Sinai, Northwest, Carroll and Levindale have many opportunities to get involved.  Whether you want to work behind the scenes or bring warm blankets to patients, you’ll find a job that fits you and your schedule.

Here’s a sampling of volunteer opportunities:

  • Front desk greeter
  • Gift shop volunteer
  • Office assistants
  • Adult day care assistant
  • Book delivery
  • Patient visitor

Who can volunteer?

We welcome high school, college and adult volunteers, and with several locations, you can find a position close to where you live, work or go to school. High school students can participate in special internship programs, and we welcome retirees.
