Make a Difference – Volunteer at Northwest Hospital

Northwest Hospital is now welcoming volunteers back into our facilities.

Our dedicated volunteers at Northwest Hospital are valued contributors in our mission to provide patients with the compassionate, high-quality care they need and deserve. They spend their time welcoming and assisting patients and visitors and doing other meaningful tasks across many key departments, including:

  • Gift shop
  • Front desk
  • Surgical services
  • Breast care
  • Patient advocates
  • Sterile processing
  • Emergency department
We would love for you to join our amazing volunteer team! We are always accepting applications as our volunteer program is year-round. We ask that adult volunteers (age 18 and up) commit to doing at least one 4-hour shift (same time frame, same day) per week.

Volunteer opportunities at Northwest offer several rewarding benefits, including:

  • A chance to learn new skills
  • Personal satisfaction of helping someone in need
  • A friendly, team environment
  • A $5 cafeteria meal voucher for every 4-hour volunteer shift you work
  • Free parking

The first step to becoming a volunteer is submitting an application. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering at Northwest Hospital, please click here to apply online.  Please note that all volunteers must undergo tuberculosis (TB) testing, receive a flu shot and agree to a background check. For any questions, please email Stephanie McDonald at smcdonald3@lifebridgehealth.org.
