About the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital

We are the only community hospital in Maryland with a stand-alone pediatric residency training program, a level 3+ newborn intensive care unit, and a fully functioning, full service, 24/7 pediatric intensive care unit staff with specially trained pediatric intensivists.
