What are the hours of operation for bedside delivery of prescription medications? [+/-]
Filled prescriptions can be delivered at your bedside on weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
How long will the pharmacy take to fill my prescription(s)? [+/-]
The pharmacy fills prescriptions in about 30 minutes.
What do I need to do if I want my prescriptions delivered to my bedside? [+/-]
Complete a bedside delivery enrollment form and hand it to your nurse, care manager or unit clerk.
Where can I find a bedside delivery enrollment form? [+/-]
A bedside delivery brochure with an enrollment form is located in your admission packet. You can
also ask your nurse or unit staff for a bedside delivery enrollment form.
Can I pick up my medication instead of getting it delivered to my bedside? [+/-]
Yes, you can choose to pick up your medication when you leave the hospital. Just indicate on the
bedside delivery form that you will be picking up your medication. You will need the hard copy
prescription slip(s) when you pick up your order.
What if I have questions about my copays? [+/-]
The pharmacy will contact you in advance to confirm your cost for your prescription medication.
How can I pay for my medication? [+/-]
The Outpatient Pharmacy at Sinai Hospital accepts payment by cash, credit card or debit card.
The pharmacy does not accept checks. The technician will have a credit card device when he or
she delivers your medication.
What if I do not know my discharge time? [+/-]
The pharmacy will coordinate your delivery with you and/or your nurse based on your anticipated discharge time.
Can the pharmacy deliver over-the-counter (OTC) medications to me as well? [+/-]
Yes, the pharmacy stocks a basic supply of OTCs. If we have what you want in stock, we are able to deliver it along with your prescription medication.
What if I need medication counseling? [+/-]
A pharmacist will be available by phone to answer any questions/concerns that you might have regarding the medication you receive at your bedside.
Does the pharmacy have low cost, generic medication options? [+/-]
Yes, please ask our pharmacy staff for details about our $4 generic list.
